Imagine you are asleep, and in your sleep you begin to see your dream. The illusive reality of your dream begins to take hold upon you, and in the process moulds a new identity for the perception of your conscious. In this new world, which your own mind has constructed, you are someone else- and everyone else in this reality is an extension of your mind, though your character does not perceive through them.

In this time-warped world, your new identity begins to see this illusion as reality, and slowly you begin to forget the reality you lived in outside of this dream. Then, one moment, your perception glimpses your real name, and slowly your character catches a hold of this. Sensing some familiarity, it focuses deeper and deeper into this name, or sound, or signifier, which they have come across from the world of the woken. Suddenly, your sense of ego materializes, and you realize that you are who you are, and all this is a creation of your mind. You realize that your perception is actually limiting you, as everything and everyone you see is but a projection of your true self. Everything is one, and you are one with everything. The false sense of self if eroded and one realizes their inner all-encompassing nature.

Recognizing the reality of nature within one’s dream is known as lucid dreaming, and is an extended form of meditation. Could you imagine, however, if one could ludic dream in one’s own real life?
