One of the greatest gifts I have received from my teacher, Guru Deep, is a teaching that speaks of tuning into God. The teaching reminds us to think of God with every breath and to surrender to him with unwavering faith. Practicing this type of focus and surrender has completely changed my relationship with God, as well as my relationship with others. I now feel God with me, wherever I go, and this gives me a comforting sense of wellbeing.

Each day, my relationship with God continues to grow deeper. So much so, that I now feel a continuing connection and inner peace. I believe that this feeling of peace is directly related to my daily conversations I have with God throughout my day. I speak to Him in faith as my loving father and dear friend. This approach to peace allows me to have a warm personal relationship with The Divine that I never dreamed could be possible.

When I am faced with challenges and obstacles, I reach out to my father, and speak with Him in the silent sanctuary of my soul. There, I find comfort and direction. In good times, I speak to him and express my undying gratitude for the blessings he has provided. At all times, I surrender to him and his knowledge. I am at peace in the realization that he knows what is best for my soul’s evolution. While I may not understand his direction at that moment, I can be assured that he knows my path and its every turn.

Friends, I encourage you to meditate frequently throughout your day on God. Speak to your Father with all the love in your heart and soul and pray for deep devotion. Pray that your heart and soul be passionate with such divine craving that your life becomes one great song for God. Once we have complete dependence on Him through surrender and faith He always responds.
